| Hair Styles Do's and Don'ts. | It is interesting to know that the type of your hair depends on your descent.
- People, who have Asian descent, have the round and thicker hair strands comparing with all other types of hair. Red hair is the only exception, it is the thickest hair of all and it is easily to work with such hair, it looks healthy and beautiful. - People, who have European descent, have blonde or dark hair, their hair strands are thinner and round to oval shaped. Such strands are easy to curl or straighten. - People with African descent have the flat hair strands that frizz and curl often, that is why such type of hair is the most difficult to work with.
While choosing a hair style consider the shape of your face. If you do not consider it, your mood may be spoiled before your wedding day. People, who don’t know what the shape of their face is, should consider the following tips to required to find it out. You should take a measuring tape to measure four places such as the length of your face and the width of your face in three places; across the forehead, cheek bones and across the chin. After the measurements look for the following information:
- If you have a round face that is about the same length and width with the widest part at the cheek bones, you should refuse wearing short hair cuts unless you can sweep it back and have fullness at the top and the hair closer to the ear. It is necessary to give your face more balance. Longer hair is not a bad choice but you should keep the fullness at the top and below the chin line. If you do not want to accentuate the roundness, you should keep the hair around your ears close to the face to lengthen the face.
- If you have an oval face, the width is longer and slightly rounded at the forehead and the chin is a bit smaller than the temple. This face shape is perfect almost for any hair style, long, medium or short. Many models have an oval face shape and they can perfectly wear various styles. If your face is oval, you can pull off the slicked hair back and wear your veil under the bun as apposed to the veil coming over the face.
- Women with a rectangular face should know that their face is long and slender and the forehead and jaw line are approximately equal (even though the chin may be a little bit narrow). Such face shape demands a more rounded appearance. Too long hair is a bad choice. You should have more fullness around the ears and cheek bones. People whose face shape is rectangular can wear wispy bangs or they may be parted at the side. If you have the already high forehead, too much height on the top of your head should be avoided and it is advised not to wear it too long. Do not give your face too much length. If you have such shape, you may have the veil over the face or the veil starting at the top with the fullness being around the ears and cheek bones.
- Women with a heart shaped face should know that their face is wide at the forehead and temple and it is narrower at the chin. Those, who have such face shape, can have chin length hair with wispy bangs or parted at the side. To accomplish balance you should have your hair fuller under the ears and at the nape of the neck. A chin length bob is a good choice. A short veil is narrow at the crown and gets fuller close to the chin.
- Those, who have a square face, should be aware that such face type is strong in the jaw and somewhat flat in the forehead. One should not accentuate the strong lines of the face. Add width around the ears, maybe a part in the middle and add height to somewhat elongate the face. Such people can wear short to medium hair. People with straight hair can wear some curls.
To avoid making a wrong choice it is recommended to find out what you face shape is and look for hair cuts that are suitable to your face shape and hair type. Consult your hairdresser about the hair cuts that go well to them.
