| Wedding Hair Style Tips | If you are going to get married and you are not sure about your hair style, you can follow these tips. 1. You should plan your style a long time before your wedding to get your hair into the best condition possible and to practice various styles and colors with your hair. You can also see how veils, tiaras and flowers look on your hair. It is recommended to practice various hair styles, colors and hair-dos 6 months before the planned wedding. You should try out the hairstyle in advance, before your wedding day. If you do not like it, refuse it.
2. Show the pictures of possible hairstyles from various magazines (the pictures taken out of wedding magazines are also included) to your hairdresser and ask his or her opinion at least 4 months before your wedding. You should have a definite idea what you want to have with your hair.
 3. When you are going to the hairdresser, you should take photos of the style you want to have and someone who can tell you if this hairstyle suits you.
4. Condition your hair every week at least 3 months before your wedding.
5. Stop using harsh styling methods and equipment for some time.
6. If you want to have flowers in your hair, practice this style some months before your wedding to ensure that it will look well.
7. One month before the wedding day ensure that your veil/ tiara gets well with the chosen style.
8. One should wash one’s hair in the evening before having an updo to avoid possible difficulties with the management of just-washed hair.
9. Ensure before the wedding that you have many hairgrips and pins in a matt color in a shade similar to your hair, hairbrush, tail comb, hairspray and shine spray.
10. Ensure that the chosen hairstyle is comfortable. For this purpose you should walk around with it for several hours. Ensure that hair pins do not hurt you.
11. It is advised to take photos with a Polaroid or digital camera from the back and other angles to see if you prefer the style.
12. Ensure that your hair style will be in order some hours after it is done. Move around and see if the hair is not messed to avoid a hair disaster during dances.
13. Your hair style should match well with your wedding dress and headpiece. If you have a classic dress, choose a classic hairstyle. If you have a non-traditional dress, do not choose a formal updo. Show your headpiece and the picture of your dress to the stylist, the stylist says you if your dress matches to your updo.
14. If you have any coloring or chemical treatments done right before the wedding, the results can be unexpected, so do them some weeks in advance. It is recommended to choose a temporary color than a permanent color.
15. Drastic changes such as the change of your hair in a completely different color or cuting off long locks before your wedding should not be done. You may be unrecognizable with your color and it is not good at your own wedding!
